![]() ![]() I have been playing decent just not really holing any putts and making a few mistakes here and there, and not putting a score together, so for it all to come together today it was nice." ![]() Perth’s, Jason Scrivener, is just two behind the lead as the Turkish Airlines Open heads into the weekend in Antalya in Turkey."It has been a frustrating couple of months, and I felt a round like this was close and I am pretty happy with it," said Scrivener. Scrivener put together a bogey free second round of 66 to be sitting just off the lead held by Austrian Matthias Schwab and with just this week and next week’s Nedbank Challenge remaining ahead of the season ending DP World Tour Championship Dubai, he needs to capitalise on this start if he is to force his way into the top 50 who will make it to the event in three weeks time Scrivener is currently 61 st in the Race to Dubai Rankings but his start has lifted him to a projected 54 th. Scott Hend showed improvement on recent efforts to be tied for 25 th, three shots behind Scrivener, New Zealander Ryan Fox is 33 rd and Wade Ormsby 43 rd in a field where this is no cut.įor the leader, Schwab, his start to the event continues an impressive run of form of late having been 4 th in two of his last three starts and inside the top ten in five of his last eight.Ī good weekend might just be enough to qualify for Dubai without the pressure of being forced to play well in South Africa next week. The 24-year-old leads the standings in the highest number of top ten finishes on the European Tour this season, with nine. Schwab has yet to win on the European Tour but many believe that once he does he will win many.ĭespite an eagle at the first hole today he struggled through much of the front nine but things improved on the way home. “I wasn’t really hitting them great at all, especially early on but kept it together,” said Schwab. “Obviously the start was good with an eagle on the first hole, but then it was not very nice to watch I think. On the back nine I found my swing a little bit and made a few good birdies coming home.Justin Warren – file photo courtesy of Anthony Powter Master of the Amateurs The long game wasn’t on but I managed to make a few good pars. New South Wales golfer, Justin Warren, and West Australian Jason Scrivener are the only Australasians to have successfully negotiated their way through Stage Two qualifying for the Korn Ferry Tour and in finishing 8 th at their respective venues in California and Florida they will graduate to the Final Stage beginning on November 4 th in Georgia to determine if he will earn the right to play the Korn Ferry Tour in 2022. “I don’t think there are words to describe the roller coaster of emotions that q school provides especially when you’re around the number.” “I can’t describe the feeling when I walked off 18 and pulled out my phone to check the leaderboard and saw that -10 was safe,” a relieved Warren told David Tease of Golf NSW Warren was one of some dozen or so Australasians at five venues across the USA from which the leading 19 of 70 or so players at each venue would their way to the Final Stage, further highlighting the demands of just getting to the Korn Ferry Tour which is in turn the feeder tour for the 2023 PGA Tour. ![]() Warren, from Picton in southwest Sydney, turned professional in mid-2019 after an amateur career which included time in the US at the South Mountain Community College in Arizona before switching to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2017. ![]() Warren closed his final season in Little Rock taking his place as one of the top golfers in program history. He finished the 2018-19 season with a 71.41 scoring average – the lowest ever by a Trojan and ranking fourth in the Sun Belt Conference. Warren returned to Australia in mid-2019 and took advantage of the status he had secured on the PGA Tour of Australasia while still an amateur late in 2018, so the demands of tour qualifying were not new to him this week. Highlighting the progress his game had made while in the collegiate system in the USA, Warren produced several top tens in PGA Tour of Australasian Tour events in the last eighteen months including a runner-up finish at the Moonah links event earlier this year.Ī member of the Australian Golf Club and coached there by highly regarded Gary Barter, the 26-year-old still has a big task in two weeks time where those successful this week will be joined by unsuccessful players from the 2021 PGA and Korn Ferry Tours as they attempt to gain full access to the Korn Ferry Tour. He continues to impress in everything he does however and he might yet prove to be a real ‘Smokey’ amongst Australia’s emerging players. ![]() ![]() ![]() The only thing more exciting than the show’s premise is its stellar cast full of big-name players. ![]() In addition, Each iteration of the murder-mystery comedy runs 33 to 48 minutes in length, and there will be a tally of eight entries overall. But this time around, Miller is helming this exciting new series that follows a murder at a high school reunion afterparty.Įvery episode will be told from a different person’s perspective. Miller, along with The Afterparty’s executive producer Phil Lord, is notoriously known for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and The Lego Movie. This not only developed the characters more, but allowed for each episode to be told in a completely different style. The Afterparty is a new series created by Christopher Miller, and the intriguing murder mystery chock full of laughs is one Netflix subscribers are most assuredly eager to see if they can experience it on the streamer. Featuring an all-star cast including big names like Ben Schwartz and Ilana Glazer, it looks like that was the right call, as now each of these heavy-hitters got plenty of time to shine in their own spotlight episodes. After a number of setbacks due to other commitments (including the surprise hit The LEGO Movie), Miller eventually decided to turn it into a miniseries, giving more of an opportunity to develop each of the characters. The Afterparty originally began as an idea for a movie with Miller directing and his longtime production partner Phil Lord executive producing. ![]() Perhaps that could suggest a similar role for Vivian in the upcoming season. Interestingly, Wu's character will share the actress' first name just like Chao. These include Edgar (Woods), Isabel (Perkins), Grace (Liu), Travis (Hauser), Hannah (Konkle), Sebastian (Whitehall), and Vivian (Wu). While little is known about the new characters themselves, their names have also been revealed. It currently appears as though Richardson and Chao are the only other familiar faces returning to The Afterparty aside from Haddish. As many suspected after the final interaction between Aniq and Detective Danner, Richardson will return as Aniq to help out with Danner's murder investigation this time around using his skills from designing escape rooms. Keeping to a particular theme that kind of comes with the territory on a show called The Afterparty, the continuation will take place at a wedding and will be told over 10 episodes, rather than 8 like in season 1. Season 2 of murder mystery comedy The Afterparty will star Zach Woods ( The Office, Silicon Valley), Elizabeth Perkins ( Weeds), Poppy Liu ( Hacks), Paul Walter Hauser ( Richard Jewell), Anna Konkle ( PEN15), Vivian Wu ( Away), and Jack Whitehall ( Bad Education). ![]() You can carry two weapons by sheathing one and holding the other. Swords and knives can be sheathed in your belt. This is much more useful in the heat of combat. However, if you are slick, you can roll over the weapon and press the pick up key instead. You can pick up weapons on the ground by crouching over them and pressing the pick up key. Weapons are common in the later levels and are very useful to your survival. It also knocks them down, giving you time to run away. If it strikes an enemy, it gives a great deal of damage (enough to kill most rabbits in Easy mode). Crouch-attack a dead or unconscious body to throw it.They won't have time to react before you perform a spine-crusher. Instead, try jumping at them from a distance. They will notice you when you get too close. It is almost impossible to sneak up behind a wolf because crouch-walking is too slow. ![]() If stunning fails, dodge and repeat the trick. Look for a body and get behind it, when the wolf approaches again, throw the body into him, or try the "leg cannon" again. Do some flips in the air: the enemy will become confused. Jump high into the air while the enemy gets near you.For a quick way to evade around a corner, try performing two handsprings, the second one rotated 90 degrees from the first. If you are stalking a wolf, it is best if you stay downwind. This will let you get close enough for stealth kills more effectively. You can move silently and quickly by rolling instead of crouch walking. The tackle does very little damage, if any, but the bonuses are that you knock them prone and you can disarm them in the midst of the move if they are carrying a weapon. On higher difficulties, or simply when an enemy is aware of you, they can throw you off themselves as a reversal, which in turn can be counter-reversed. Successful performance usually rewards 5 points the first couple times, diminishing every time you do it again. This unarmed combat move is executed by Rabbit Running at an enemy and pressing the jump key when close. If an enemy is near-death and is fleeing for help, you can tackle them, knocking them out or killing them instantly.By flipping in mid-air, all of your opponents will be stunned for a second or two. Enemies of course can do the same to you, but you can avoid it by flipping in mid-air (press crouch). This also works with swords and staffs slash or clobber them as they fly by. You can pull enemies out of the sky if they happen to be jumping over you.Attempting a cannon on an in-coming airborne enemy may result in a "Nice Aim" kill, but it often kills you, too, especially if you are weak. ![]() Two successive cannons will work most of the time: one knocking the enemy into the distance from behind, the next from the front while they are returning to the attack, still dazed from the first cannon. If you use it when your opponent is getting up from the ground, it will work 100% of the time. Attacking from behind is almost always successful with proper timing, but get too close and the enemy will sense you (his ears will twitch) and he'll reverse your kick and flip or throw you to the ground.
![]() Although somewhat perturbed, the wizard's curiosity overcomes his fear as he pursues the unearthly glow, which eventually reveals itself to be the Trine. A strange light shines upon him, and beckons him to follow. Trine 2 takes places some years after the restoration of the kingdom of the previous game and opens with Amadeus (voiced by Kevin Howarth) sleeping after a long night trying to once again learn the elusive fireball spell. The three heroes of the Trine series depicted in Trine 2 Scattered throughout the levels are also letters, poems, and documents which further flesh out the backstory and provide additional insight into the game's characters. Story elements are incorporated into the game through the use of an all knowing narrator (voiced by Terry Wilton) as well as in-game scripted sequences. The skill tree is shared among all characters, based on the hosting player's saved game. If a character dies, the other players can revive the character at the next checkpoint. Two players can switch characters as long as both agree to the swap. In this mode, each player controls one of the three characters, but all must be unique three players will be forced to play as Amadeus, Zoya, and Pontius. Trine 2 also supports up to three players in a cooperative mode. These skill points can be used collectively for each of the three characters, and can be traded between them. Throughout the game world are special magical vials, and for every fifty of these collected, the player receives a skill point, which can be used to gain abilities through a skill tree for each character. If all three characters lose their life meter, the player must start back at the last checkpoint. A combination of these elements is necessary to complete each stage in the game's world.Ĭharacters have individual life meters, and if one character's meter depletes, that character cannot be used until the next checkpoint is reached. ![]() Each of the characters has unique abilities: Amadeus can use magic to grab onto certain objects in the game world, and create boxes and planks to be used to get around Zoya can strike at objects with her arrows, and grapple onto certain surfaces and Pontius is strong in combat against foes, can bash apart walls, and deflect projectiles with his shield. As with the first game, the mystical "Trine" has bound the three characters together into one common entity, and thus the player controls only one character which can be switched to the other two at any time. Trine 2 is a puzzle-platform game, requiring the player to use the skills of the three characters, Amadeus the wizard, Zoya the thief, and Pontius the knight, to navigate each game level.
